My brother asked me why have I,
Seen Lord of the Rings so many times,
I laughed and said I’ll tell you why,
And it won’t even cost you a dime.
In Lord of rings my dear,
I escape to a world of my own,
Where I am brave despite of my fear,
And fight to help save a throne!
With Aragorn as my darling,
And Legolas as my friend,
And I stop the Hobbits from quarrelling,
And I sit back, feeling content.
In lord of the rings little brother,
Fantasies come to life,
Where troubles and worries don’t bother,
There my life is free from strife.
Then he asked me once more,
What about Harry Potter?
That is one world I do adore,
Many things with magic, I could alter!
At Hogwarts I'm free to be myself,
To learn, to laugh and to fall in love,
To call to beckon, my little house elf,
There mundane life I could be free of!
To see true love with my own eyes,
And feel its powers of sacrifice,
To know its hidden plainly in disguise,
To uphold, to protect with no compromise.
In Godric’s Hollow, I’ll learn to cherish,
My friends and families with all my heart,
I will learn to not be afraid to perish,
So long as I don’t give up without a fight!
So there my brother, are you happy now?
These are the answers to your questions,
So next time I watch them don’t ask me how,
I could stand those sessions after sessions.
I could never be tired of works of wonder,
For they teach me lessons for me to abide,
For these lessons save me from blunders,
I hold them close to my heart, with pride!
